The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. (USDA) The program is designed to continue providing nutritious food services to children from low-income areas during periods when public schools are closed for the summer. Summer Food Service Program in South Carolina. Waccamaw EOC is proud to sponsor the program for Horry County. Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties are served through the school districts. We estimate that we touch the lives of approximately 5,000 children, 18 years old and younger, every summer.

Waccamaw EOC is proud to have been a sponsor of this program for the past several years in Horry County. The 2016 program operated from June 13th to August 5th.
